Cathi and Christie have a conversation with the Sleuthfest guest of honor, T Jefferson Parker. They drink Chateau de Camarsac Bordeaux while discussing Parker's latest book "Swift Vengeance" and the upcoming "The Last Good Guy." He also provides advice and insight from his successful writing career.

Cathi and Christie taste Starborough Sauvignon Blanc and discuss New Orleans Po Boys. The book of the week is "The Chef" by James Patterson and Max DiLallo.

Tom Straw joins Christie and Cathi at Sleuthfest 2019 for a conversation and glass of Voga Pinot Grigio. Tom discusses his work in TV and his transition to mystery author, as well as his experiences writing books under TV show character pseudonym, Richard Castle. His new book "Buzz Killer" is out now!

Christie and Cathi discuss Brad Parks's latest book "The Last Act" while drinking Menage A Trois Decadence Cabernet Sauvignon. Their conversation goes from talking about the thunder and pollen storms to trading mackerel for prison hooch.

At Sleuthfest 2019, Cathi and Christie got to speak to author Alexia Gordon. She discusses her cozy mystery series and most recent release "Fatality in F." As they talk about Ireland, representation in mystery books, and the recent college admissions scandal, they drink Apothic Inferno (a red bled aged in whiskey barrels).

This week's conversation is with author Brad Parks ("The Last Act"). The hilarious discussion ranges from writing at Hardee's to a naked Lebron James. The episode opens with the usual wine tasting: this week the Bogle Pinot Noir.

After Cathi and Christie taste 14 Hands Cabernet Sauvignon, they present their interview with author Charles Todd. The interview took place at Sleuthfest in March 2019.

Cathi and Christie record an hour earlier as Daylight Saving Time sets in. This week, both hosts have read the same book, "Judgment" by Joseph Finder, and they discuss while drinking Sancerre. 

Cathi and Christie are joined by prolific author, Traci Hall. They sip SEAGLASS Sauvignon Blanc as they discuss Traci's writing process, background, and her "By The Sea" series as well as other works. 

Over a bottle of Buttercream Chardonnay, Christie and Cathi discuss a couple of Sleuthfest Faculty author's books: "Silent City" by Alex Segura and "Frozen Heat" by Richard Castle (Tom Straw). Conversation topics this week include Cuban sandwiches, NYC pizza, parenting, pseudonyms, and finding comparables for your work in progress.
